The United Arab Emirates Council for Fatwa and Sharia has praised the decision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold this year's Hajj with a very limited number of pilgrims from various nationalities who already reside in Saudi Arabia, in order to protect human lives and prevent health risks. The Council stressed that everyone should abide by the instructions issued by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz based on its sovereign and legal responsibility to care for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors and help them to maintain the health and safety of all.
