The National Program for Community Development in the Regions "TANMIHA" has begun procedures of disbursing financial compensations for the owners of real estate within the first phase of the NEOM in the centers of Sharma, Qayal, Al-Kheraiba, Al-Aseelah, Al-Soura, and Bir Fehiman. This came following TANMIHA's announcement at the end of the month of Sha`ban on the completion of the listing work. All field works have been implemented in a record time before beginning the program's schedule and keenness of the beneficiaries' compensations to be paid in consecutive payments as soon as possible. During the field works, the program took into account all instructions and precautionary measures issued by the Ministry of Health related to confronting the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in order to safeguard safety and health of the beneficiary citizens and workers in the program. The program affirmed the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on achieving development and welfare of the citizen, disclosing that the program will provide additional financial aid to the people of the centers within the first phase. It added that a set of social and economic packages, will be announced later, will contribute to improve the standard of living for the beneficiaries in accordance with development plans and in coordination with the relevant government entities.
