A man was killed and another badly wounded Friday when a small bomb device inside a bag exploded in the northwestern Colombian city of Medellin. Two men doing gardening work had picked up the bag that had been left in Prado Centro, a busy area in downtown Medellin. The two were rushed to a hospital after the blast, where one of them died from his wounds. Police did not immediately attribute the attack to any of the three major illegal armies that operate in Colombia. --SP 2228 Local Time 1928 GMT
