Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef valued the great support for the industrial sector by the Saudi leadership in light of the economic conditions the world is going through due to the Corona pandemic, indicating that the initiatives announced recently for the industrial sector will have a significant impact in reducing the burden on this vital sector in the Kingdom. The minister said, "The package of initiatives comes as an extension of the care of the wise leadership for the industrial sector and reflects the strength and durability of the Saudi economy and its ability to face urgent global challenges and crises, stressing that these packages include all affected groups in various vital sectors, which reflects the government's keenness to reduce the burdens resulting from Corona's repercussions on all sectors, and ensure that they are not affected by these repercussions." The minister stressed the robustness of the Saudi economy and its ability to face challenges and fully overcome them, noting that the package of initiatives launched came as an extension of the previous government support for various sectors. The minister urged all workers in the industrial sector to take advantage of the package of these initiatives, stressing at the same time the need to take responsibility through adherence to the precautions announced by the Ministry of Health in this aspect, especially with regard to workers in the factories and targeted sectors.
