From May 4, Belgium will start easing social restrictions introduced to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus, dpa quoted Prime Minister Sophie Wilmes as saying late Friday. The restrictions are to be eased step by step, Wilmes said after a more than seven-hour meeting of the country's National Security Council. From May 4th, more public transport will be running again. Currently, use of public transport is restricted to essential trips. A number of restrictions would remain in the coming weeks and months, the prime minister asserted. Wilmes said that wearing a face mask is mandatory on buses and trains for people aged twelve and over. Every citizen will receive a mask made of fabric for free.
