Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah Amer Al-Swaha, co-chaired the Consultative Council Meeting of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Centers of the World Economic Forum (WEF) today. It was held to discuss the most important technology issues and to enhance the role of technology in addressing global challenges, including the Corona pandemic. During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the Kingdom's successful experience in facing current world challenges, noting the great role of the kingdom as a leader of G20 for the year 2020 to help the world to overcome this crisis. Earlier in November of 2019, the Kingdom signed an agreement with (WEF) to establish a branch of the WEF's Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the Kingdom, which is the fifth branch in the world among branches in the United States, India, Chania, and Japan.
