Djibouti Welcomes Initiative of Ceasefire in Yemen

The Republic of Djibouti welcomed the announcement by the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, enforcing an extendable two-week comprehensive unilateral ceasefire, starting today, in response to the United Nations.
In a statement, Djibouti appreciated this initiative at this critical time in light of confronting the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), calling upon the legitimate government and Houthis to hold a meeting in order to reach a political comprehensive solution to the Yemeni crisis.
