The main Saudi Stock Exchange Index closed the trading up 125.48 points to reach 6986.40 points, with transactions worth more than SR 5.3 billion. The number of shares traded reached more than 262 million shares, which were shared by more than 224,000 deals in which the shares of 142 companies registered a rise in their value, while the shares of 43 companies declined. Farm Supermarket, Zain KSA, Etihad Etisalat, Savola and Al Mrakez, were the highest gainers, while those of Alinma, Yamama Cement, Bahri, Astra Industrial and Red Sea, the lowest in trading, with the rates of rise and fall ranging between 10% and 3.51%. The shares of Alinma, Sira, Saudi Kayan, Petro Rabigh, and Dar Alarkan, were the most active in quantity. The shares of Alinma, Al-Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Sira and Petro Rabigh were the most active in value. The Saudi Secondary Index (Nomu) closed the day up 307,82 points to close, at 6279,89 points, with more than SR 17 million traded, and the number of shares traded was 461,000, within 865 transactions.
