The main Saudi Stock Exchange Index closed the trading up 108.73 points to reach 6860.92 points, with transactions worth more than SR 4.5 billion. The number of shares traded reached more than 212 million shares, which were shared by more than 194,000 deals in which the shares of 174 companies registered a rise in their value, while the shares of 15 companies declined. Enaya Companies, Al-Rajhi Takaful, Amana insurance , Petro Rabigh and Tawuniya, were the highest gainers, while those of Southern Province Cement, AlWatania, Riyadh, Saudi Ground Services Company and Amiantit, the lowest in trading, with the rates of rise and fall ranging between 10% and 5.02%. The shares of Alinma, Saudi Kayan, Al-Rajhi, Petro Rabigh and Sira were the most active in quantity. The shares of Al-Rajhi, Alinma, Saudi Aramco, SABIC and Petro Rabigh were the most active in value. The Saudi Secondary Index (Nomu) closed the day declined 301.93 points to close, at 5972.07 points, with more than SR 11.9 million traded, and the number of shares traded was 361,000, within 831 transactions.
