In implementing the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that it has completed preparations; and now ready to pick Saudi citizens who wish to return back home after having been stranded abroad because of the spread of Coronavirus in several parts of the world. In a press statement, the President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation Abdulhadi bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri clarified that GACA has completed its preparations to receive returnees at Riyadh-based King Khalid International Airport, Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz International Airport, and Dammam-based King Fahd International Airport after certain measures and health procedures being strictly followed. Al-Mansouri stated that GACA, in cooperation with the relevant government agencies, is working to provide flights for the citizens' return plan, in coordination with the national carrier, Saudi Arabian Airlines. GACA has prepared an operation room each of the three international airports with the participation of each of competent agencies.
