Riyadh Police Arrests Citizen Offending Security Efforts via Social Media

Media Spokesperson of Riyadh Police Lieutenant Colonel Shaker bin Sulaiman Al-Tuwaijri announced today the capture of a citizen who has defamed police authority in general and a policeman, in particular, who was stampeded to death following a run-over incident last Friday.
Lt. Col. Al-Tuwaijri said the arrestee was found to have circulated on the social media insulting drawings and comments to security men of the country. He was apprehended, and legal procedures taken against him to refer him to general prosecution, he added.
