The UAE company "Costal Dubai" intends to set up manufacturing and assembly plant of German engines for heavy trucks in Pakistan with an estimated cost of 100 million Euros, said an official statement issued here today. A delegation of Coastal Dubai led by Yousaf Najibi presented this proposal to Pakistan's Acting President Muhammad Mian Soomro during a meeting with him. Najibi told Soomro that the unit is likely to be set with the technical collaboration of German companies. He said that the plant would pave the way for creating employment opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled labour force in Pakistan. Najibi said that engines produced by the firm could be exported to other countries.
