An official source of the Ministry of Interior has stated that in implementation of additional precautionary measures to limit the spread of the novel Coronavirus, it was decided the following: First: The date of curfew in Jeddah Governorate is preset to be effective from 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 5 Sha'ban 1441 AH corresponding to March 29, 2020 AD, and for the period specified in the Royal Order issued on 27 Rajab 1441 AH. Second: Suspending entry into and exit from Jeddah Governorate. Third: The application of the suspension decision starts from 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 5 Sha'ban 1441 AH until the end of the curfew period specified in the Royal Order issued on Monday 27 Rajab 1441 AH. Fourth: The suspension decision does not include groups excepted from the curfew decision, taking into consideration that the exception shall be in the narrowest scope and according to procedures and controls set by the concerned authority. The source emphasized that continuing cooperation of all citizens and residents in implementing the precautionary measures will have the greatest impact on the success of the taken measures and enabling competent health authorities to provide the best medical care to prevent the spread of the virus and eliminate it to ensure the safety of all people.
