The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted soldiers on Boma, a peninsula of Lake Chad, and resulted in killing 92 soldiers; and the terrorist attack on army vehicles in northeastern Nigeria killing dozens of soldiers and wounding many others. The Secretary General of the OIC, Dr. Yousef Al Othaimeen extended his deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, to the Governments and peoples of Chad and Nigeria and wished the wounded a prompt recovery. He also expressed the OIC's support for the efforts of the Governments of Chad and Nigeria in fighting terrorism. Dr. AlOthaimeen reconfirmed the position of the OIC that vigorously condemns and rejects all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all forms and manifestations.
