Riyadh Airports Company, supported by General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), has intensified precautionary measures at King Khalid International Airport to prevent the outbreak of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The company set an operational plan in cooperation with the Ministry of Health (MOH) that involves all departments of the airport to ensure the safety of passengers and workers in the airport. Airports Company has intensified efforts with relevant authorities to combat this virus, all arriving passengers have to go to health check-up and pass through mandatory thermal cameras to ensure their safety. It also intensified the efforts of sterilizing and disinfecting airport terminals and all general facilities, in addition to providing protective equipment from coronavirus. Riyadh Airports also organized awareness campaigns on coronavirus and provided thermometers to check employees. The monitoring teams also intensified their efforts to ensure that all measures are applied.
