Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 is a bold and realistic, and rebuilt the Saudi economy based on new and international bases, and focused on reducing the dependency on oil as a main source of income. The paper also added that the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is an evidence of the Kingdom's vision foresight and confirms that betting on oil markets is a losing bet. Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper said in its editorial that the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) announcement for preparing SR 50 billion programs to support the private sector reflects the Kingdom's keenness to maintain the stability of its economy and different sectors. The paper added that the Saudi government works in a consistent way to protect lives and the economy from the consequences of the coronavirus outbreak.
