Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Yaum, Al-Bilad, Okaz newspapers reported in their editorials that the decision that was taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to suspend the performance of Umrah ritual and visit the Prophet's Mosque for citizens and residents until further notice is unprecedented precautionary decision as the world is witnessing strict measures to prevent the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that afflicted a whole slew of countries. Saudi Arabia, through taking such decision, aims to prevent the spread of the novel of coronavirus over its entire territories, especially in the two Holy Mosques, where large numbers of people from different countries of the world are flocking there, the paper added.
