During the weekly meeting of Kuwaiti Cabinet, chaired by Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Cabinet today praised the precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to combat the spread of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) by suspending entry to the Kingdom for the purposes of Umrah and visiting the Prophet's Mosque temporarily to prevent the spread of the virus. The Cabinet expressed the State of Kuwait's understanding and support for all precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that are consistent with the provisions of Islamic Sharia to preserve the Holy Land, religious rituals, and the safety of pilgrims.
