Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Dr Muhyuddin Khoja has highlighted the Kingdom's national day which falls on Sept 23, and said the Kingdom is the cradle of Islam and the pulsing heart of the Muslim world. In a statement to SPA on the occasion the national day, Dr Khoja said the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has given a great attention to the Holy Places, adding that the expansion projects implemented at the two Holy Mosques stand as a witness for the great attention given by him to the pilgrims. Dr Khoja said under the leadership of King Fahd the Kingdom has made big strides in the various development spheres. 'In addition to that the Kingdom has been giving a great attention to the Arab and Muslim causes, notably the Palestinian cause', he said. Moreover, he said the Kingdom has been extending all possible support to the international organizations, and has been working for enhancing international cooperation and the pillars of the global peace and stability. On the Saudi-Lebanese relations, Dr Khoja said the Saudi officials are keen on further cementing the existing fraternal Saudi-Lebanese relations.
