The Center For Research And Intercommunication Knowledge held a panel discussion in which Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muaammar the Secretary-General of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue KAICIID spoke, and moderated by Dr. Yahya Mahmoud bin Junaid the Head of the Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge, in the presence of a group of academics, researchers and intellectuals. Ibn Muammar reviewed the origins of the center's efforts and activities, highlighting the support and interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for the center and its visions aimed at promoting human partnerships and generalizing peace and harmony among the followers of religions and multiple cultures. He also briefly recounted the beginnings of the dialogue among the followers of religions and cultures and the Kingdom's efforts to establish dialogue, coexistence and peace-building, from the very beginning of the dialogue, as the Kingdom of the early sixties of the last century dispatched the Minister of Justice Sheikh Muhammad bin Ali Al-Harkan to the Vatican to meet the Pope of the Vatican, and conduct a dialogue from the side of Islamic society through the Kingdom.
