Secretary General of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) Faisal bin Muaammar, has paid visits to a number of religious leaderships, in Lebanon, at the end of the KAICIID International Fellows Program (KIFP) in the Arab Region held from 24 to 29 March 2019. During his tour, he met Patriarch Aram I Keshishian, the head of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Al-Raei and Sheikh Aql of the Druze Unitarian Community Naim Hassan, who praised the efforts of the KAICIID among followers of religions and cultures. These religious leaderships praised the unique work of the KAICIID and its great confidence, in achieving coexistence and peace. As he concluded the tour, Faisal bin Muaammar commented, stressing the need for concerted efforts to promote a culture of dialogue, coexistence and respect for diversity under the umbrella of joint citizenship.
