The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) granted the Ministry of Commerce and Investment 6 international certificates for successfully completing the application of standards in the following administrative systems (Quality management system ISO 9001, knowledge management system ISO 30401, Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001, BS 16000 security management system, guideline for social responsibility ISO 26000 and environmental management system ISO 14001). The Ministry was granted these certificates with accreditation from one of the most important American accreditation centers, the International Accreditation Service, based on the recommendations of the external audit team of the awarding body, which praised the Ministry's progress in some areas. It also provided the Ministry with its recommendations and development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement and institutional excellence in the coming year in accordance with the best international practices.
