The support being provided by the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY) for the health sector throughout the country has contributed to the amelioration of the medical services for Yemeni people in addition to increasing their share of access to medication without discrimination, a report issued here said today. The projects of SPDRY have targeted Yemen's hospitals, regardless of their capacity, in addition to supporting the clinics throughout the country. The program applies the internationally-accredited standards to guarantee the sustainability of the projects. In a spate of one year, the program has provided as many as 1000 medical appliances, including medical apparatus and materials as well as all kinds of equipment.
