Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) inaugurated today the project of rehabilitation of Al-Jouf General Hospital after being renovated and provided with medical equipment through the Program. Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and the Supervisor of the Program Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber said that the project aims at reducing the gap between the standards of living and health care in Yemen, pointing out that the project included renovating the hospital according to Saudi standards. The hospital capacity was also increased to serve 12 directorates, receive 18,000 cases per month and benefit about 600,000 Yemeni citizens in Al-Jouf governorate only. Governor of Al-Jouf, Major General Ali Al-Akaimi highly appreciated the generous support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Government for Al-Jouf General Hospital contributing to providing medical and therapeutic services to beneficiaries.
