His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense met here today with President Isaias Afwerki, the Eritrean Head of State, currently on a visit to the Kingdom. During the reception, they reviewed aspects of the two countries' bilateral relations, domains of mutual cooperation, latest regional developments and efforts exerted towards them. Significance of the role played by the Council of Arab and African states littoral to the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden as well as promising common opportunities among the council member states were reasserted. The reception was attended by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of State and Member of Cabinet Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeid, the accompanying escort minister - Head of the General Intelligence Khalid Al-Himaidan, Advisor at the Cabinet Secretariat General and Chairman of the Saudi Development Fund Ahmed Al-Khateeb and the Saudi Ambassador to Eritrea Saqer Al-Qureshi.
