The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held here today an official session of talks with President Isaias Afwerki of the State of Eritrea. During the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the President of Eritrea reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, and the latest developments in the Horn of Africa and the region. They also affirmed the importance and role of the Council of Arab and African States bordering the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden in developing and enhancing opportunities for cooperation in various fields. The session was attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Issa, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Minister of State for African Countries Affairs; Saqr bin Sulaiman Al-Gurashi, Saudi Ambassador to Eritrea; and members of the delegation accompanying the President.
