Saudi Health Minister Dr Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane' and his Pakistani counterpart Nasir Khan held official talks here today. They decided to push ahead the existing cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in the health sector. Addressing a joint press conference along with Khan at the Health Ministry's headquarters in Islamabad, Al-Mane' said his talks with the Pakistani Health Minister focused on ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in all areas of the health sector. "Moreover, Saudi Arabia will like to benefit from Pakistan's experiences in pharmaceuticals, training of doctors and nurses, medical technology, vaccines production, medical education and research and other fields of the health sector, " Al-Mane' said. He added that the number of Pakistani doctors in Saudi Arabia could go to any length as a result of the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is already importing high quality medicines from Pakistan, he added. The Saudi Health minister said that although the Kingdom was getting doctors and nurses from Bangladesh, yet there was a great demand of such professionals in Saudi Arabia as it was a big country. --MORE 1253 Local Time 0953 GMT
