Pakistan will send 41 highly qualified medical consultants and 103 nurses to Saudi Arabia to assist health care services during the forthcoming Hajj season, officials said. Saudi Ambassador Ali Awadh Assiri met Health Minister Nasir Khan and handed over the formal requisition from the Saudi Government. The health minister later called a meeting to formulate a strategy for selecting the consultants and nurses from all four provinces of Pakistan and the Armed Forces, purely on merit. The provincial governments and the armed forces have been asked to provide their nominations for consideration.
