Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization "ALECSO" has signed a cooperation agreement with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), aimed at exchanging knowledge and experiences regarding the promotion of the Arabic language and giving it the due position in the fields of science and technology. According to a statement of the ALECSO at its headquarters in Tunisia today, the agreement stipulates the promotion of the use of the Arabic language in the areas of research and communication technologies, in addition to upgrading it as a tool that plays its role in all aspects of life, like all other languages. The agreement, signed by ALECSO Director General Mohamed Ould Omar and IDB Group President, Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hajjar, aims to explore other areas of cooperation in the field of education in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
