The Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, and chairman of the board of directors of the National Cyber Security Authority Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban has extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his patronage of the Global Cybersecurity Forum. Dr. Al-Aiban expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for his support to hold the forum. He also extended his thanks to Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh region, for opening the ceremony of the Forum on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Dr. Al-Aiban stressed that cybersecurity has become a worldwide priority, which requires intensifying international efforts and joint work to achieve the highest levels of cybersecurity, pointing out that the importance of the forum is strengthened at the national level as it coincides with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's presidency of the Group of Twenty. Dr. Al-Aiban pointed out that HRH Crown Prince adopted two initiatives to serve global cyber security, the first initiative to protect children in the cyber world affirms his Highness's keenness to serve humanity through the active contribution to protecting future generations. The second is the empowerment of women in cybersecurity, with the aim of supporting them for active participation in this field. These two initiatives according to Dr. Al-Aiban will have a clear impact on protecting societies and enhancing the level of global cyber security.
