Jeraisey pointed out that the participants of the seminar will shed light on commercial fraud under the phenomenon of globalization and electronic commerce, the rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the role of the private and public sectors and the civil institutions in combating commercial fraud. He added that the GCC commerce ministers decided at a meeting held in Riyadh in September 2000, that such a seminar should be convened every two years, with its alternate organization by every member of the Federation of the GCC chambers of commerce and industry and the other concerned authorities. On the fringes of the seminar, an exhibition will be organized for displaying the original and imitated commodities.
