Yemeni Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh met today with Sweden's Special Envoy for Yemen Peter Semneby. During the meeting, they discussed developments on the national arena and bilateral relations between the two countries. They also discussed a number of issues including Hodeidah Agreement and Riyadh Agreement. The Vice President affirmed that the recent Houthi escalation on several fronts eliminates the hopes and opportunities for implementing Sweden's agreement. For his part, the Swedish envoy extended his country's condolences to the death of a number of soldiers and civilians as a result of the Houthi bombing targeting a mosque in Ma'rib Governorate, reaffirming his country's support for Yemen's security and stability.
