Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, has taken part within the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the World Economic Forum held in the Swiss city of Davos under the title "for A Cohesive and Sustainable World". Within the activities of the World Economic Forum, the Minister participated in a dialogue session entitled "Strategic View of Emerging Markets", during which he indicated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is going through the stage of development and leaders' commitment in addition to making room for some new sectors in the Kingdom, such as tourism, culture and sports which are effectively considered as the engine of growth. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated during the activities of the third day of the World Economic Forum, in a dialogue session entitled "G20 Priorities," during which the Minister Al-Tuwaijri mentioned the strategic priorities of the Kingdom during its G20 presidency. He said before the session: We are proud of the Kingdom's presidency of the G20 for 2020 as we seek to enable sustainable development through the goals set by the Kingdom to chair the G20, and will directly support the sustainable development plan in the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He added that one of our most important priorities is to be proactive to achieve the goals of sustainable development, and to always have practical plans to solve the challenges facing the achievement of these goals, stressing that success in achieving comprehensive sustainable development is the cornerstone of global economic stability and the well-being of human societies.
