Control and Anti-Corruption Authority: KSA progresses in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2019 to rank 51 internationally and 10 among G20 countries
Control and Anti-Corruption Authority said that Transparency International released the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2019 today, Thursday, 23/1/2020 and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has progressed in the ranking to 51 internationally out of 180 countries, where it also placed 10 among the G20 countries. Transparency International releases this Index annually based on perceived levels of corruption in countries. The CPI is based on a combination of surveys and assessments on corruption released by a number of international organizations and institutions such as The World Economic Forum (WEF), the Global Insight (GI), and the Bertelsmann Foundation (BF), the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Political Risk Services (PRS), the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), and Varieties of Democracy (VDEM).
