Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that Saudi-Omani relations are distinguished at all levels, and the joint coordination between the two countries are keen to enhance the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and exchange of views on various issues. The paper said that the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques yesterday to Muscat to extent condolences to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taymour of Oman and the Omani people on the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed came to affirm the strong relations and fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that for more than 6 decades the Saudi-Japanese relations are witnessed many successful understandings and alliances, and were characterized by stability and development. The paper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen to strengthening cooperation and achieving steps of Saudi-Japanese vision.
