Minister of Economy and Planning Khaled Al-Qusaibi launched here on Tuesday evening the start of census operation for the Kingdom's population and housing for 1425 H. In a press statement, Al-Qusaibi urged all citizens and residents to cooperate with officials of the census operation and to provide them with accurate and proper information. 'Proper planning depends on authentic census', he said, adding that 'it is hoped that the census operation will have a positive impact on the country'. Al-Qusaibi pointed out that the census operation will be carried out by national cadres without seeking help from foreign experts except in cases of statistical issues at the international level. "I want to assure the citizens that all information will be confidential," he said.
