The Minister of Labor and Social Development Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi has patronized the 3rd session of the Arab-Chinese Women Forum being held under the title "Woman and Working on a Creative and Sustainable Future", and was organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the Saudi Family Affairs Council and Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University, in the presence of a number of representatives from governmental and private sectors. In his speech delivered during the forum, the Minister expressed his thanks to the Arab League for this initiative in bridging ties and relations between Arab countries and the People's Republic of China, and focusing on the common goals on women's empowerment issues, as this forum coincides with the Kingdom's presidency of the G20, indicating that leadership of the Kingdom has given women unprecedented attention in several areas, including empowerment and administrative leadership. Through this forum, Eng. Al-Rajhi looked forward to enhancing the investment environment for women, increasing promising commercial opportunities for them, enhancing their values in the Arab and Chinese cultures, supporting them in the professional, social, health and economic fields, finding more visions of empowerment and training, and diversifying the horizons of partnership between Arab and Chinese women. The forum aims to discuss the role of the non-profit sector in supporting women in the professional, social, health and economic fields, their roles in the economy and investment and the exchange of trade experiences through a review of methods to enhance the investment environment for women and promising business opportunities for them, and the position and role of women in Arab and Chinese culture in terms of similarities, differences and common values between them.
