The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones "MODON" participated in the Saudi-German Business Forum, organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships, in Berlin. Director General of MODON Eng. Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Salem said that the Forum brings together senior German and Saudi officials from the government and private sectors with the aim of strengthening future partnerships through 5 main axes; the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation, specialized industrial clusters, modern infrastructure, logistics services and supporting entrepreneurship. He pointed out the importance of reviewing MODON's efforts to develop specialized industrial clusters to contribute to increasing the volume of exports within the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to achieve sustainable development, diversify national income sources by focusing on industry as a strategic option, and define the National Productivity Program that was launched to help factories adopt fourth industrial revolution technologies.
