Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz chaired today in Al-Salam Place in Jeddah the weekly Cabinet session. At the outset, the king briefed the members of the council on talks held by him and the crown prince with Pakistani premier Shaukat Aziz and which focused on events at the Arab and Islamic arenas, strong brotherly relations between the two countries, and ways of boosting them for the benefit of the Muslim nation. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) after the session, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulsalam Alfarsi pointed out that the king also briefed the council on the results of the consultations, talks and contacts made during the past days with a number of brotherly and friendly countries and their envoys, adding that these dealt with the latest developments at th e Palestinian and Iraqi fronts. The minister said the king stressed that the constant Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people will only worsen the situation in the region, and called on the international community to press Israel to force it to adhere to international legitimacy resolutions and respect the international law and abide by the Road Map. --MORE 2126 Local Time 1826 GMT
