Dr. Auwad bin Saleh Al-Auwad, President of the Human Rights Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, currently on a visit to the Belgian capital, met here today with the European Union (EU) Deputy Executive Director of Justice and Consumer Protection, at the European Commission Alexander Goure Schroeder, and the European Commission Coordinator for Anti-Islamophobia Tommaso Champerino, in the presence of the head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's mission to the European Union Ambassador Saad bin Muhammad al-Areifi. During the meeting, topics of common concern were discussed, especially in the field of human rights and hatred discourse against Muslims, and ways of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two sides, as well.
