The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) has called on all investors in accommodation sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register on the National Tourism Monitoring Platform as soon as possible, noting that the commission has already given investors in the Kingdom's regions a period of 90 days to be registered and connected to the platform. The end of the registration period will be next Tuesday, December 17th 2019. The General Department for Licenses, in SCTH, Director General Eng. Abdulkareem Alomey stated that the implementing regulations system will be applied to the unregistered facilities, adding that this connection to the platform will help in following up the tourist movement, promoting the level of tourist services, providing accurate and instant data on tourist movement in the Kingdom, and provides an easy and quick access to information and statistics of accommodations sector. SCTH has confirmed the huge importance of the National Tourism Monitoring Platform in different aspects through several workshops that were launched in coincidence with launching the platform.
