Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Vienna meetings of OPEC and its partners outside producers affirmed the cohesion of the parties to the agreement to reduce production that existed since last January to support oil prices and avoid oversupply, aiming to reach the oil market to a state of balance that meets the interests of both producing and consuming countries. The paper said that the strategic role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the balance of the oil market is important, as it keens to coordinate for fair price limits. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that, during the past few days, the Iraqis have expressed their rejection of the Iranian presence in their country and its blatant penetration in Iraqi affairs. The paper added that the Iranian blatant interference in Iraq affairs has been and continues to be the cause of strife, turmoil, political crises, and spreading sectarian manifestations and hate speech, as well as undermine Iraqi national unity.
