Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is leading the balance of production efforts in world oil markets wisely, committing to a package of principles for decades based on providing energy to the world at satisfactory prices for producers and consumers. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Iranian economy is suffocating due to the suspension of its oil exports, and the tightening of its twisted methods of circumventing the sanctions imposed by United States which has reached its limits. This was made clear by the pressures made by Tehran to take an extraordinary step to reduce its nuclear obligations with European countries by waving an imminent declaration in this regard. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the statement issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the recent developments in Aden expressed its firm position that there is no alternative to the legitimate government in Yemen and that it does not accept any attempts to create a new reality in Yemen by using or threatening with force. The paper pointed to the statement of the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Gargash that emphasized the Kingdom's leading role in its management of the Arab coalition with all skill and abilities, and reaffirming his country's consistent position that the UAE's response to the Determination Storm Operation call has consolidated a well-established regional partnership.
