The Custodian of the To Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received a message from Indonesia's President Megawati Sukarnoputri including an invitation for the Kingdom to attend the Nonalignment Movement's summit in Indonesia. The message was delivered to the monarch by Indonesia's Presidential envoy Ali Alattas during a meeting at King Fahd's office at the royal court at Alsalam palace in Jeddah today. During the meeting, the Indonesian envoy conveyed to King Fahd the greetings of President Megawati Sukarnoputri. On his part, the monarch sent his greetings to the Indonesian president. The Indonesian envoy expressed thanks to King Fahd for giving him honor of meeting him, noting the depth of relations between the Kingdom and Indonesia. Her Excellency the Indonesian president is looking forward to see the Saudi high-level delegation at the conference, he said, citing the Kingdom's leading and pioneering role in the world. Indonesia has completed arrangements to hold the conference which will coincide with the Nonalignment Movement's 50th anniversary of Foundation. The audience was attended by Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Chief of General Intelligence; senior protocol officials; and Indonesia's Ambassador to the Kingdom Mohammad Besioni.
