The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in Madinah organized here yesterday a training program entitled " the blind paramedic," and 18 blind people from Blind Charity Association (Roya) participated in this program, which comes as one of "Khair Umma" programs and initiatives. The official spokesman of the SRCA in Madinah Khalid Al-Sahli said that the two-day program aims to train the participants on the steps of handling emergency situations, starting from calling 997-emergency communications center to the way of handling emergency situations before the arrival of paramedics. He also confirmed that these programs and courses come within the framework of the SRCA keenness to increase awareness about the importance of first aid, adding that the registration for these programs is available through SRCA website.
