A technical team from Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) visited Aden International Airport yesterday to assess and study the necessary technical and construction needs of the airport. The technical team, headed by Eng. Ahmed Madkhali, started meeting with specialists at the airport in preparation for studying all facilities and buildings of the airport. Eng. Madkhali, explained that the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen works to assess and study the necessary technical and construction needs of Aden International Airport, which include assessing buildings, facilities, runway, the status of lighting and equipment of the runway, current navigation devices, arrival and departure halls. The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen has recently completed the rehabilitation and development of Al-Ghaydah Airport in Al-Mahra Governorate, Yemen, and conducted air navigation systems tests and flight testing procedures, in cooperation with internationally accredited companies.
