Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Saudi Cabinet has stressed the valuable contents of the speech made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during the opening of the 4th year of the 7th session of the Shura Council, citing deep constants in the Kingdom's internal and external policy, its approach since its establishment by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, on implementing and committing to the Islamic Sharia on the basis of unity, solidarity and consultation, and establishing justice and independence of decision, maintaining security and stability, and continuing the comprehensive development process. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the announcement of the Saudi Cabinet made Tuesday on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's full rejection of US government statements on Israeli settlements in the West Bank reiterated Riyadh's firm and principled stance and its commitment to UN resolutions which affirms that Israel's construction of settlements is contrary to the resolutions of international legitimacy and international law. The paper added that Cabinet's session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has stressed that achieving a lasting peace requires the full realization of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and the resolutions of the international legitimacy. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that since the outbreak of the crisis caused by the Houthi coup militia against legitimacy in Yemen, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has exerted great efforts at all levels to find a political solution according to the agreed principles, which are represented in the Security Council resolution, the Gulf initiative and the outcome of the National dialogue.
