The Iraqi interim president arrived in Italy Friday for talks with Premier Silvio Berlusconi and other top officials as Rome is trying to secure the release of two Italian aid workers kidnapped in Baghdad. President Ghazi al-Yawer was scheduled to meet with his Italian counterpart, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, and later with Berlusconi. Al-Yawer is on a European tour that took him to Germany Thursday and also includes Spain, Britain and the European Union headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
