The Rector of King Abdulaziz University Dr. Abdulrahman bin Obaid Al-Youbi launched here yesterday Digital Resources Workshops organized by the Deanship of Library Affairs at King Fahd Center for Medical Research of the University. The workshops aim to serve faculties and researchers and tackle the cooperation between scientific research, engineering, and other sectors. The Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Nabil Qumsani highlighted in his speech the importance of digitization with the notable transformation in information science, stressing the roles being played by the Saudi Digital Library as it represents the largest collection of digital information resources in the Arab world through digital books and information rules. The workshops included the signing of four agreements and memorandums of cooperation between different sectors.
