King Fahad Industrial Port in Yanbu has received the NCC FAJR Tanker of Bahri Company which is the world's largest petrochemical tanker. It was anchored at berth 40 at the SabTanK petrochemical station, the tanker is 228 meters long, 37 meters wide and a load capacity of 81,336 thousand tons. This is a confirmation of the level of capabilities and operational and logistical services and high competitiveness of the port, as well as its strategic location overlooking the Red Sea coast and the readiness of the infrastructure and superstructure that contributed to attracting international shipping lines, and receiving various types and sizes of giant ships in the world to cope with the requirements of the maritime transport industry. Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) seeks to contribute to the implementation of the pillars of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, by making the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia an attractive logistical platform and a global hub to connect the three continents of the world, and a major center of trade, by optimizing the strategic location of the Kingdom.
